My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! I see you’re looking for a furry friend, so allow me to introduce myself. My name’s Jordy, and I’m a 1-year-old Chihuahua/Labrador Retriever mix. At just 26 pounds, I’m the perfect size for all kinds of adventures—and for fitting right next to you on the couch (or under the blanket, which is my favorite spot).

I love to play chase around the yard and tug-of-war, but after we’re done having fun, I’m all about the snuggles. My foster mom says I’m the ultimate cuddle buddy. She even calls me ‘Cinnabon’ sometimes because I love to curl up next to her like a cinnamon roll!

You should know I’m potty-trained, I walk great on a leash, and I’m ready to be your forever friend. If you’re looking for a playful, loyal, and super snuggly companion, I’m just the guy for you.

More about this rescue

SNIPSA is an organization formed by a group of veterinarians and caring individuals dedicated to helping homeless and unwanted animals in San Antonio and the surrounding area. SNIPSA does not have a standing shelter and depends on a core of volunteers to foster and rehabilitate animals in their homes. This provides us with the opportunity to learn first hand about the animal’s needs and behavior in order to facilitate an appropriate adoption. SNIPSA was incorporated in 2005 and has re-homed more than 3000 animals.
