Meet Velo, a 1 year old, black and tan, female doberman mix. She has a beautiful coat, natural ears, and a natural tail. Her natural ears are expressive. Velo is goofy and sweet. She loves to get belly rubs and give kisses. She chases her tail and her shadow.
Velo is crate trained, settles nicely in the crate, and sleeps through the night. She has puppy energy and is still learning, so she will need a home that will provide her with exercise and mental stimulation.
Velo is very food motivated and has responded quickly and well to verbal cues. She will need some leash training, but has been walking pretty well with an Easy Walk harness. On our walks through the neighborhood and park, she's been great, ignoring loud neighborhood noises and other dogs or people. She loves playing in the snow and finding sticks! Velo plays with durable toys but tries to swallow plush toys so those should be avoided. Velo is a sweetheart and she is fostered in Maryland.
