Additional adoption info

Minneapolis Miniature Schnauzer Rescue is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, adoption, and placement of Miniature Schnauzers in Minnesota. Our mission is to find forever homes for these lovable dogs and provide them with the love and care they deserve. At Minneapolis Miniature Schnauzer Rescue, we believe in a thorough adoption process to ensure the best match between a dog and its new family. We require potential adopters to go through a screening process that includes a detailed application, home visits, and meet and greets. Our adoption process starts with the family meeting the requirements which we take seriously that are listed below, having a suitable fence, not home all day alone, and live in Mpls area.

Go meet their pets

Before finalizing the forever home, we organize a meet and greet session for the Schnauzer and its potential owners. We want to be assured that the already displaced Miniature Schnauzer gets along with the entire family. We don't have a physical location and all dogs are in private homes of our foster families, there is no way to view or meet them prior to having all the steps of our adoption process is completed.

More about this rescue

We assure that the Miniature Schnauzers surrendered to us will never go to a shelter or be without a home again. All are spayed and neutered, veterinarian checked, up-to-date on shots, and given any medical treatments needed.
Minneapolis Miniature Schnauzer Rescue mainly corresponds through e-mail and telephone calls. We focus on providing owners a means to have their purebred Miniature Schnauzers placed by a reputable dog rescue group. The group has many organizational forms we use to make this process professional. We take responsibility for proper placement.
