Hello, my name is SnowWhite.
I’m originally from Texas where I gave birth to my little family of puppies who are also with Ruff Start Rescue, but I am flying solo now and looking for a new family to love.
My perfect new family would be a combination of relax and play. I like to have a comfy area in the middle of the action to snooze but if anyone would like to go outside and play or go for a walk, I’m all in!
I am a chill girl, but I get a little bored if I don’t get any exercise during the day. Being from Texas I’m used to the heat, but this white snow stuff is amazing and surprisingly, I love it.
For fun, I like to de-stuff all the stuffies, especially the ones with squeekies, so I’ve been switched to stronger toys and bones. I have a toy box with my toys, and I know what is mine and leave the human things alone.
I’m great on my leash and I like to go for rides. When the lakes open up, I suspect I might like water too.
I’m used to dogs and so far, have gotten along well both big and small. I currently live with a little chihuahua who thinks she is the boss of me and that’s just fine. I am flexible and non-confrontational. Good natured and eager to please.
I also live with an older cat who I am slightly curious about but she keeps her distance which works just fine. I think I could be friends with a confident cat who doesn’t want to run away from me.
I like people but I do need slow introductions. With a new person, I prefer to give it some time and I will come to them when I am ready. After that, I’m devoted.
My current foster doesn’t let me go upstairs and I’m so smart, I listen and don’t even need a gate. I’m not supposed to be on the couch but I’m still working on that. Every once in a while, when no one is looking I like to sneak up there.
I am not aware of my larger size so I could accidentally knock over a toddler so keep that in mind.
I like to get outside to do my business and run a few circles and I come back when called. I am completely house trained and have not had any accidents in the house especially since my foster mom gives me plenty of bathroom breaks.
After a final outside break at night, I’m good to snooze the night away until morning.
My current foster Mom doesn’t let me sleep in bed (probably because of that little boss chihuahua) so I just stroll off to sleep in my kennel with the door open until someone wakes up in the morning.
I get fed and get bones in my kennel, but I mostly get free roam of the house because I can be trusted.
After warming up to you, I’m just a soft-hearted gal looking for someone to love and play with me. If you love me, I’ll love you back double.
SnowWhite is from Texas. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.
