HI - I'M WHISKEY! I'm a handsome 3-year-old Labrador Retriever-Rhodesian Ridgeback mix in need of a forever home. I am currently in a foster home. I was given up by my owners in 2024, and now am in a foster home. I am good with dogs and currently live with another dog and a cat, too! My foster home is a temporary stopping place, so I would love a home with more room, a nice yard if possible, and with someone who can take me for walks, hikes and other outings as I love exercise. We have an extensive application and spend time with potential applicants to make sure we match people with the right dogs. We also have a 100% return policy as we understand sometimes adoptions just do not work out.

Freedom Ride Rescue Inc. is an active 501(c)(3) animal rescue based in Ventura, Calif. We rescue dogs and cats primarily from overcrowded California shelters, and do our best to find wonderful homes for them. We also take in many owner surrenders every year. We adopt dogs to people in many states, and have a high success rate with our adoptions. We do our best to match people with the right dogs.
