Hello, I'm Mary Eve. I may be young, but I've learned so much about the world through my other senses. You see, I don't have eyes, but that doesn't stop me from exploring. I'm a bit shy and timid, yet my curiosity often gets the best of me. I'm independent, yet I crave the gentle touch of a friend. I'm mellow, preferring quiet moments over loud noises. I'm sweet and friendly, always eager to meet new people. I may not see the world as you do, but I feel it, and it's beautiful. I hope to find a home where my gentle spirit will be cherished. I may need a little extra care, but I promise to repay it with endless love and purrs.

Founded in 1971 as the Animal Aid Society of Englewood, Suncoast Humane Society began with a few cages where people left stray animals to be cared for. Over the years, our service area has grown to include over 400 square miles, covering three counties: Sarasota, Charlotte and portions of Lee.
Suncoast Humane Society provides a safe refuge for thousands of lost, abandoned and abused animals from our service area each year. We are committed to our open-door policy of never turning any animal away, regardless of health, temperament, breed or circumstances.
