What would be the ideal home? An active home that can take Tank on lots of walks. A house would be ideal as Tank tends to bark when left alone. A back yard is also ideal for Tank to run around in.
Good with other cats? Unlikely, shows prey drive toward small animals.
Good with dogs? Yes, if given a slow introduction. Tank gets very excited when meeting a dog.
Good with children? Unknown, possibly good with older children
Temperament: loves to say hi to everyone and is very friendly and loving. Is very laid back in the house but loves to go on walks and run around.
Motivators? Very motivated by his food and treats.
Any commands? Sit, paw.
House trained? Yes, however, sometimes tries to run out when someone is leaving the house.
Crate trained? No – sleeps in his crate at night but does not like being left alone in his crate
How long will it take to settle into a new environment? 1-2 weeks
Any special needs or traits an adopter should know? Tank does not like to be left alone in his crate and will get mouthy. He is ok on a leash and is learning leash manners but tends to pull and is easily distracted by other dogs, people, cars.
