Come say hello to Gemini. Gemini is a playful young dog who will entertain himself with toys all day. This good boy is looking for an active family that will help him become his best self with lots of physical and mental stimulation. You see, Gemini is a dog with boatloads of energy. This eager dog gets excited about any and all adventures, as long as he is included. He will need some help with training to combine exuberance with good manners. Here at the shelter, he has been working hard on his loose leash walking skills and is really starting to get the hang of it. Even though he is not a young puppy, Gemini has never been taught the rules of the house and adopters may need to puppy proof. He is crate trained, however.
Due to all the recent changes in his life, Gemini has shown some discomfort with meeting new people. He is hoping for adopters who will watch his body language and help him out when he is uncomfortable. This boy does eventually warm up and make new friends, it just may take a little time. Gemini might be able to live with a well-matched dog. He could possibly live with a dog savvy cat or older sturdy children who wont get tipped over by a bouncy dog.
