Meet Hector!
Hector is a happy-go-lucky potbellied pig, who joined the Longmeadow family, October 2022, along with a few other friends!
Hector was a bit shy when he arrived at the Ranch but has since come out of his shell and will greet a treat holder with a wagging tail and piggy chatter! He has also been trained to take handfed snacks but watch those fingers! Hector gets so excited about his snacks; he can`t tell were the treat ends and fingers begin! He has proven to be very food motivated and will tend to be a dominant piggy if friends come between him and food.
Hector is used to barn life and has not been introduced to a harness, but with the proper training could perhaps acclimate to indoor living.
