Meet the Snowboard Crew: Burton, Nitro, Capita and Arbor
These puppies are from our reservation partner in South Dakota - and we are all so happy they
are safe and out of the cold!
Arbor is being fostered with her siblings, other (large) resident dogs, cats and kids. In typical
puppy fashion, she loves everyone and everything.
Sweet Arbor has the cutest markings on her face. She is so gentle, loving and a joy to be
around. Arbor is the smallest of the crew, and she does tend to give her siblings space when
they are being extra rowdy. She frequently falls asleep in her foster humans' arms - especially
during a movie night. She does love toys and will play extra when it's 1:1 versus with her larger
siblings.
Arbor is working hard on house training. Her foster family lets Her outside everything 2-3 hours
during the day and she does great on a schedule. Arbor sleeps in a crate overnight and doesn't
make a peep.
While we don't know her exact breed makeup, we do know that Arbo has some
herding/working breeds in her DNA! This means her future family will need to develop a strong
training plan to keep her mind and body active.

**Note on breed and age determination:
Breed and age are often determined on appearance, our own knowledge, veterinarian advice, and/or information from the sending shelters or previous owners. Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.
ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES:
- Wellness check
- Spay/neuter (puppies adopted with required spay/neuter certificate)
- Age appropriate vaccines - rabies and distemper combo
- Heartworm test if over 7 months of age
- Fecal test and/or deworming for parasites
- Microchip ​
~ Healing Hearts rescue will also provide dental procedures, bloodwork, surgeries, and/or any other additional vet work as needed while dogs are in our care.
