My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I'm Virginia, but they usually call me Ginny! I was a stray for quite a long time. I found myself having a litter of 12 puppies and kept them hidden, safe, and alive for about 5 weeks before we were all mobile and able to be found! I am ready to retire having babies and living on the road. I am LOVING being in my foster home where I have my own dog bed and sweaters. I no longer have to worry about when my next meal is and I'm starting to put on some weight again. I am very sweet and well mannered, except I did go without food for a long time so I do still go looking for meals in the trash if I have access. I am fully potty trained though, and my foster family doesn't restrict me when they leave. I do just fine when left alone!
I will not be ready to officially go home until into February, but I can start meeting potential families! I have so much love to offer.

Additional adoption info

If you see a pet you are interested in, please fill out our adoption application. We review carefully and will only place in homes that would be best fit! Example, if you have many small children and pets, we would not place a timid pet in your home. We do this so there is less chance of returning to our rescue! If we think we have a better fit for you, we will make suggestions!

More about this rescue

We are a small family owned rescue! We are mostly foster based but do house on our property when available. Our mission is to create a safe, loving, and comfortable place for animals at risk of euthanasia or in need of a home. We are their safe space before finding their forever. While in our care, each animal is treated and loved like family.
