Hi everyone, I am the sweetest guy you'll every meet. I just want to cuddle up to everyone I meet and stay with them forever. I enjoy car rides and will settle into walking on a leash after the initial excitement of going for a walk has worn off. I love toys! The plushy ones with squeakers are the best, but I should be supervised because I like to chew them up! I don't really care for the loud dogs here at the shelter, but would probably do well with another dog who is laid back and spayed/neutered. I have been know jump up on people but will get down when told, I also know how to sit and sometime I will even lay down when asked. Once an application is approved, we ask potential adopters to come to the shelter to visit the pet or pets they are interested in. If it seems like a great fit, then we would have you fill out the Adoption Contract and provide you with the pet's medical chart, some of the food it is currently eating, and offer any advice we can on that individual cat or dog.

Our shelter is located at 1471, US Highway 20 West, Elizabeth, IL, 61028. Our hours are: Monday - Saturday, 10am to 3pm. We can provide by-appointment-only visits from 3pm to 5:30pm. We are closed on Sundays.
