Foster Care Plan: Candy Kay has had potential exposure to distemper in the shelter, so we kindly ask that her foster family monitor her closely for any signs of illness and promptly inform the foster team if symptoms arise. To ensure her health and the safety of other pets, she will need to be in a home with no other dogs and should remain at home (avoiding walks and outings) during her foster period.

At your foster pickup appointment, you’ll receive a thorough medical consultation to help you feel confident in caring for Candy Kay.

Candy Kay is also heartworm positive and will go home with medication as she prepares for her upcoming heartworm treatment.
