Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Bonn!
- Friendly with men, women, & young children. Really doesn't care who you are as long as you're able to throw a ball. Will seek affection and lay on the couch with us. Great with the 3-year-old toddler in her foster home.
- Neutral with large, male dogs. I have not tested her yet with large, female dogs and will update once I do so. I suspect it will be fine.
- Doing amazing with crate training in a secure crate. She knows how to escape a wire crate so needs to have a varikennel or other type of secure crate. Will go right in when told and settles nicely. Currently needs to be crated when alone.
- Housetrained and will go to the door when she needs out
- HIGH ball / toy drive (but especially ball). She would jump into an active volcano for a ball. For sport people - she has determined hunt drive for a ball that could be built upon. She cannot have free access to toys or she would never stop, so for some people this may be a con.
- High food drive and good motivation to train
- Understands a marker system and working on foundational obedience. Knows sit, down, stand. Doing well with recall. Doing well with learning loose leash skills.
- Rides well in the car
- Stands well for nail trims
- Settles nicely provided she receives appropriate physical/mental stimulation
She does have a high prey drive so no small dogs, cats, etc.
Currently in Pittsburgh but can be transported to her perfect match by amazing volunteers!
