Her Story
Tara is a smart, brave, quiet, playful, loving kitty who is social, likes people and will come
to meet you, usually. She enjoys playtime with any toy and then finding you for a cuddle.
She is a petite but energetic queen who sits proudly at the top of her cat condo. Her sister
Hope accepts this alpha behavior on and off…and they make a good pair.
Tara and Hope have only lived indoors and it will take time for her/them to adjust to a
new quiet home but once comfortable will come find you for love, petting and playing.

More about this rescue
Mission Statement
Fat Kitty City Humane Society is a non-profit 501(c)3 Corporation, dedicated to ending needless animal suffering, through spaying, neutering, socializing, adopting and other aggressive approaches.
Our objectives are:
Provide a "no-kill" sanctuary for unwanted, Feline AIDS positive or negative, abused, neglected, feral, tame, stray or lost pets.
When possible, each pet will be rehabilitated, socialized and adopted (with a microchip) to a good family.
Those pets that cannot be rehabilitated, will live out their lives in our sanctuary, in dignity. They will receive love, housing, food and veterinary care.
To spay or neuter every pet we receive, to reduce unnecessary suffering.
Provide reasonable space for each pet to live out a high quality of life (not to live out their lives in small cages with barely enough room to move around).
Provide relief from the weather by providing a heated shelter during cold weather, etc.
Provide stimulation. A yard with trees to climb, lawn and dirt to play in and toys to enjoy.
