Meet Hercules!

This big-hearted boy first came to Nuzzles as a puppy and found a loving home, but due to circumstances beyond his control, he’s back with us and ready for his next chapter. Now four years old, Hercules is a large mixed breed with a laid-back, gentle nature.

He’s house-trained, knows his commands, and is eager to please. While he could use a little extra exercise to get to his healthiest self, he’s always up for a leisurely stroll or a cozy nap by your side. He’s a friendly guy with people but prefers to be the only dog in the home—new dog friends make him a bit uneasy, and he feels safest when he has his own space.

Hercules would thrive in a home with older kids and a patient adopter who can help him build more confidence in everyday life. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who’s equal parts snuggly and smart, Hercules just might be your perfect match!

Our Rescue Ranch is open seven days a week from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The ranch is located at 6466 N Highview Rd, Peoa, UT, 84061.

Founded in 1990, Nuzzles and Co (formerly Friends of Animals Utah) was just a small group of animal lovers lobbying for a new shelter facility. Today, we are a full-fledged animal rescue and rehabilitation organization with an adoption center, dedicated staff and board of trustees, and a 15,000 sq. ft. facility that includes a full veterinary suite, indoor and outdoor training spaces, miles of hiking trails, and a community cat room with an attached "catio."
