Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Mangu is a marvelous tuxedo who enjoys making friends. Sweet and affectionate, she loves to play with people and toys yet is also good at entertaining herself. All in all, a wonderful roommate! She likes to sleep at your feet and waits for the alarm to go off before asking for kisses and chin scratches. Just like the breakfast food she is named after, Mangu is warm and comforting and exactly what you want to wake up to. After work, Mangu will happily sit next to you on the couch or curl up on your chest while watching tv. We met Mangu at the city shelter where she was surrendered with a neck wound. She was gentle and easy going throughout her recovery. While she is great with adults, she has no known history with children or other pets. Mangu was born around October 2023.

Additional adoption info
Once you've filled out an application, we will contact your references and put you in touch with the foster/caregiver of the cat. Once your application is approved, we schedule you to attend a Zoom group seminar on cat care. We invite both novice and experienced alike to attend. Then you would sign the adoption agreement, pay the adoption fee, and make arrangements for the cat to be moved to your home. We always do a home visit which is both reassuring to the cat when it is being introduced and to the foster who has taken care of the cat. Presently we are doing home visits with FaceTime or Zoom to confirm you have secure windows, no toxic plants and a generally safe environment for a cat. The adoption fee is $150 for one cat under 7 years old, $75 for one cat 7 years and older.
All cats have been tested for the Feline Leukemia and FIV virus, vaccinated (FVRCP and Rabies vaccines), microchipped, dewormed and spayed/neutered. If you adopt kittens that are too young to be altered, we will arrange the spay/neuter/microchip at a later date at a partner vet.
