Hi there… my name is Josh. I’m an 8-month-old Labrador Retriever mix with the most unique brindle coat you’ve ever seen. I weigh 34 pounds, and while I may look like a little bundle of potential, I’m still finding my way in this big world.
You see, I was found lost and brought to the shelter on 01/09/2025. Everything here is so new to me, and I’ll admit—I’m scared. But even though I’m quiet and unsure, I’m also very sweet. I just need someone patient and kind to help me learn what it means to feel safe and loved.
I probably haven’t had much practice on a leash, but with your help, I know I can figure it out. I’m calm and gentle, and I have a lot of love to give once I trust you. I’m not neutered yet, but don’t worry—that’ll be taken care of before I go home with you. My shots are all up to date, so I’m ready to start fresh with someone who sees my potential.
If you’re the type of person who has a big heart and loves to help shy dogs blossom, I’m waiting for you. You can meet me at cage #313—my ID is 7460. Let’s take this journey together. I may be scared now, but I know I can grow into a confident, loving companion with you by my side.
Quietly hopeful,
Josh 🐾
