My name is Missy!

Hi, I’m Missy! I’m a sweet, 11 month old laid-back husky mix who loves snuggling up on the couch after a nice, easy walk or car ride. I’m pretty friendly with cats, dogs, and kids. I don’t mind sharing my space as long as I’m getting attention. I love chewing on toys but I’m too relaxed to play fetch. I’m also super treat-motivated, which makes me eager to learn (though, to be honest, I’ve only mastered “sit”so far).
I was found on the streets, after having puppies, I was not microchipped so I’m still figuring out some of the house rules, but I promise I’m a quick learner!
Things to note: I can get a bit protective over my food, if you leave stuff on the counter or floor I might try to eat it, but with some patience and understanding I know I’ll get better. If you’re looking for a mellow, affectionate companion, I’d love to be your new best friend!
