01/23/25 15:35 Gopher is a 4mo MN pitbull mix. At the time of neuter only one testicle was located despite a thorough investigation of the inguinal region and an abdominal expore. This could mean it never developed, or while less likely a testicle still remains in the body. If the latter is the case, this could eventually develop into a cancerous mass later in life. These cancers are generally slow growing, have low potential for metastasis, and can develop clinical signs such as symmetrical hair loss, increased size of mammary glands, etc. Due to this condition, he is less likely to be adopted quickly and would be best going to rescue where he can be fostered and receive proper training. Needs rescue.
