Meet Pogo, the magical 3-legged unicorn. Ok, maybe not a unicorn, but how else would you describe the most perfectly amazing creature?? What he lacks in limbs he makes up for in a heart full of love. Dogs, cats, kids? He loves `em. More specifically, he loves cuddling with them. His recent foster describes him as a total couch potato and snuggle bug. Poor Pogo was found on the side of the road after being hit by a car, but he doesn`t let that and his subsequent leg injury stop him from being the happiest boy there is. Now, all he needs is a new family to adore him as much as he will surely love them! Pogo is spending some time in a foster home but is still available for adoption! Our adoption center is located at 575 Woodland Avenue in Madison, New Jersey. We are open for adoption on a walk-in basis daily 1:30-6 pm (Thursdays 3-6 pm). If you arrive after 5:30, there is a possibility we may not be able to complete an adoption that day. Please note that we cannot put animals on hold.

St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center is a private, nonprofit organization dedicated to the humane treatment of animals. It operates animal shelters in Madison, North Branch and Ledgewood, New Jersey and one of the largest professional dog training and behavior centers in the country at its Madison campus. Humane Education and community outreach assistance are among its programs offered to the community. St. Hubert’s also provides animal control services by contract in several municipalities in proximity to the shelters.
