Chase was surrendered to us when his owners landlord would not allow them to keep him. He has been around kids. This boy is pretty happy although he is not fond of people with hats on. He loves wearing sweaters, and cuddling. Kids need to be respectful.**Please fill out an application found on our website under "adopt a pet" and send it in to start adoption process.**

More about this shelter

Van Wert is a small rural community. The Van Wert County Humane Society has seen hard times in the past but since the Humane Society is under a new board, things have changed for the better and we work hard to care for and adopt the animals at the shelter. We have a small base of volunteers that will come and spend time with the animals at the shelter. We take donations of any sort, and the Humane Society is 501c3.
