My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Morada of our Rainbow Litter. Morada and her siblings were dumped as young puppies, hungry and unwell but were lucky enough to be taken in by the SPCA PV in Puerto Vallarta. They gained strength, their health and some joy and are a pleasure to spend time with. Morada is curious, confident and engaging. Might you be the pot of gold at the bottom of the rainbow?

They are now ready to find families of their very own. They are healthy and vaccinated and can fly to find their new families in Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton and possibly Vancouver island. If you think you might be a good fit to adopt or to foster, email us at pvcaadoptions@gmail.com or go direct to our application at: https://forms.office.com/r/b1Fkq3u4zw (please check your junk mail in case we're sent there)

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

We screen all applications and in most cases require a home check prior to placement. An approved adoption application must be on file before meetings are set up, as our dogs are in foster homes. We charge a $550 USD adoption fee. We routinely follow up with a visit or at least a phone call after placement. We solicit follow up photos and publish adoptions in our weekly newsletter.

More about this rescue

PVCA Animal Rescue is the sister organization of the SPCA Puerto Vallarta in Mexico. We facilitate the transportation and adoption of rescue dogs into loving forever homes. PVCA is a network of volunteers, transporters, and foster homes. The mission of SPCA de PV is to help fund and promote sterilization, adoption and healthcare efforts for companion animals in the Puerto Vallarta area, with the goal of eliminating the euthanasia of healthy and adoptable animals. SPCA de PV is not supported by the government, corporations, foundations or businesses. The dogs & cats of Mexico are too often found living on the streets after being discarded and/or extremely abused. We devote ourselves to their physical and emotional rehabilitation and invite everyone to come and interact with the animals at our sanctuary. Compassion Knows No Boundaries!
