Roxie is a 3-5 year old female black Labrador Retriever with a heart full of love waiting to be shared. At first glance, Roxie might seem a bit intimidating with her deep, booming bark—but don’t let that fool you! Beneath her bold voice is a gentle soul who’s as sweet as they come.
Roxie is a proud mama to four puppies born just last year, and her nurturing nature shines through in everything she does. She came to us from a challenging hoarding situation, so we’re still getting to know her and helping her adjust to a new life filled with care and compassion. This lovely girl enjoys her walks with our volunteers and is learning the ropes with basic training. She’s a quick learner but could use a patient adopter to provide consistent guidance. Roxie is happiest when chasing after a ball—fetch is definitely her favorite game! She also gets along well with other dogs, though we’re not sure how she feels about cats just yet.
Roxie has been through a lot, but she’s ready to turn the page and find her forever family. She deserves a loving home where she can finally experience kindness, patience, and the comfort of being truly cared for. We are located at 3 Arrow Avenue in Cody Wyoming. Our adoption hours are Monday through Saturday from noon-5:00. We have amazing dogs and cats!

The majority of our funding comes from an amazing community of animal lovers who give whenever they can to help the many homeless pets in Park County. We currently have the facilities to care for as many as 25 dogs and 60 cats at a time. We are a non-profit 501(c)3 organization and we are not affiliated with any political action organizations.
