Tammie is a 5-year-old female Australian Shepherd with a tender heart and a gentle soul. Since arriving at the shelter a couple of months ago, Tammie has made incredible progress. Though naturally timid, she’s beginning to open up and show her sweet personality to those who take the time to earn her trust. Tammie adores love and affection and is happiest when she’s close to someone who cares for her. She’s eager to please and has a quiet, calm demeanor that makes her a joy to be around.

She does well with other dogs, though we’re still unsure how she feels about cats. Every day, we’re learning more about this lovely girl, and we can’t wait to see her continue to blossom.

Tammie is ready to find a patient and understanding forever family who will provide her with the love and security she needs. If you’re looking for a loyal and gentle companion, Tammie might just be the one for you!

We are located at 3 Arrow Avenue in Cody Wyoming. Our adoption hours are Monday through Saturday from noon-5:00. We have amazing dogs and cats!

More about this shelter

We are a small animal shelter located in the heart of the old west, Cody Wyoming. The majority of our funding comes from an amazing community of animal lovers who give whenever they can to help the many homeless pets in Park County. We currently have the facilities to care for as many as 25 dogs and 60 cats at a time. We are a non-profit 501(c)3 organization and we are not affiliated with any political action organizations.
