From the moment we met Charity, she was bouncing like a bunny, wiggling into our laps, and sneaking in kisses left and right. She is just a baby and a certified happiness expert! Instead of being scared or shy, this little firecracker was all about belly rubs, tail wags, and sitting politely for treats, when she wasn’t too busy being ridiculously adorable. She has one ear permanently on “alert” and her heart set on making every human her friend! Charity is pure joy! She’s tough, she’s friendly, and she’s ready to wiggle her way into your home!

*Adoptions are walk-in 12-6 daily at 2741 S. Western Ave. Chicago, IL
*The building is open 12-7 daily and adoptions end one hour before closing. All visitors 18 and older must have a government issued ID.
*All household members should be present to meet dogs (especially those under 18 and any decision-makers). We recommend and can arrange dog to dog meet and greets for your current dog to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter. You will need to show proof of up to date rabies vaccination for your dog or dogs.
*Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended after you allow time for decompression for the shelter dog.
