My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We're about to change the life of this beautiful 3 year olf male tricolored Mini Aussie called Chip.  At approximately forty pounds of weight, this boy has spent most of his young life tied to a tree with very little kindness shown to him by demand that was his owner.  Fortunately, this dog is not behaviorally damaged or physically hurt.  We do know that loneliness and lack of love and kindness can cut deep on a soul, whether it be a human or an animal.  Chip is in a foster home staying with a woman that begged the man to please let her have this dog that was tied up in the 7 inches of snow. It took a while to convince the man to let him go. But we now rejoice in having him in our care and to be neutered on Monday, January 20tn. Chip's life will be forever changed.   Huse, loving so appreciative of the care and kind words spoken to him. He is great playing with other dogs and has discovered. What fun toys can be.  He's not really great on a leash, but that will come with time and practice.  Great training is underway, and that should go fine and quick.  He is housebroken, if you watch for signals, and we do know that cats are NOT a possibility for him to live with.  He is learning how to ride in a car and enjoy it. And he is transforming quickly, everyday, been to a great dog that promises to be someone's wonderful companion.   If you are interested in making Chip your very own and promising him the good life that he deserved from the day he was born, please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue  at ccrnewengland@gmail.com

PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com

More about this rescue

We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website. Won't you please adopt a shelter animal? Or won't you please help us foster a shelter animal while we are looking for their perfect home? What a gift you can give a dog or cat by giving them a place to feel safe and secure....a forever home or a foster home. Won't you help us at Critter Companion Rescue give them a chance to have a life?
