My name is Ozzy!

Ozzy is a five year old boxer Lab mix I rescued from a shelter in February of 2020. He is loving, loyal, very affectionate, and requires a lot of attention from his human. He is a wonderful and sweet companion who has brought me much joy in the last five years. He loves everyone he meets, but is nervous around dogs. He warms up after awhile, but because of a dog attack from a German shepherd when he was a puppy he can be reactive around dogs, trying to assert dominance. He is able to be friends with dogs, it just takes patience and time with experienced handlers.

He is great with kids, cats, and people. He is extremely attentive and will be by your side every second of the day. The biggest reason I am needing to rehome him is due to my schedule. I'm a single parent, working full time and in school. Our change in life leaves me such little time to give him, and he deserves more than what I can provide. He needs a family who is present and home to be with him.
