Poor little Chewy was spotted in the woods and was too scared to come to anyone. We had to set a trap and after 3 days we finally caught him! He was skin and bones but as soon as we got him back to the rescue and out of the crate, sweet as sugar! He's actually a bit of a cling on now, probably afraid someone will dump him again. He's super friendly with strangers and kids which is a wonderful trait for a Chihuahua. We don't think he is full blooded Chihuahua, perhaps mixed with Rat Terrier, just a guess. His pictures aren't the best because it was a freezing cold windy day. Our vet thinks he's about 4 years young. He has some mild tartar on his teeth so we are having his teeth professionally cleaned. He is neutered, vaccinated, heart worm negative, crate trained and microchipped. He will be ready for transport on February 21st.

Our dogs are mainly fostered in TN with loving families. We have many terrific dogs looking for homes! All of them are completely vetted and neutered/spayed (if age appropriate) and on heart worm protection. All of them come with complete medical records. Their adoption fee covers their complete age appropriate vetting and heart worm preventative as well as their transportation to your area.
