Chewy is a special senior looking for his new home. At 15 years-young, he has wisdom to share and is ready to sit back and relax with good company. This big tabby boy loves receiving pets and leans his head into your hands for more. Curling up in a sunny spot is his idea of a good afternoon. Chewy can be a little nervous when he is in novel situations or around new people, so give him some time to settle in and get comfy. Before you know it, he will have his sweet personality on display. He may do well with other cats in his new home with a slow introduction.

Interview

Call and tell us what animal you're interested in and we discuss all aspects of the pet. If it's not a match, we can help you find one

2.
Submit Application

We will set up an appointment time for you to meet the pet and collect a Companion Request Form from you.

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

At your appointment we will give you an opportunity to meet the pet and make a final decision. If all goes well, you will take the pet home.

The mission of the Placer Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (Placer SPCA) is to enhance the lives of companion animals and support the human-animal bond.

We offer programs for the pets and people of Placer County, including adoptions, lost and found, low-cost spay and neuter assistance, humane education programs, emergency financial assistance for pet owners, free behavior advice, and low-cost microchips and rabies vaccines.
