Hi im Gordon! I'm a big, lovable, 7 year old snuggly boy who loves treats, and belly rubs! I came to the Runaways after they saved me from euthanasia. The doctors say I have something called spondylosis which affects my gait. Despite this, I am a happy, playful, and normal pup! I went to an orthopedic specialist for this and after a full examination this is what he had to say about me: "Gordon does not seem painful and is very functional, and it is quite possible that his condition is not progressive and he could live a fairly normal life despite his mild disability"
You see, even though I may walk a little different, I can live a perfectly happy, healthy, normal life just like any other dog! I just need to find my special person to give me a furever home! I enjoy going on walks, playing in the yard, and getting ALLLLL the snuggles from my humans! I also dont mind cuddling up on the couch on rainy days, and going out to discover all the new adventures that life has to offer! I love playing with stuffed toys and playing tug of war! I have been in play groups with other dogs in the past, but I appear to be dog selective!
I am fixed, vaccinated, micro chipped, and up to date on flea and heart worm prevention! If you are interested in meeting me, please fill out an application today!

All of our animals come with health records and are dewormed, have age appropriate vaccinations, spayed or neutered, microchipped, all cats are FIV/FeLV tested, and all dogs over 6 months are heartworm tested.
In order to be considered as an adopter you must:
* Be 21 years of age or older
* Have identification showing your present address
* Agree to a home check
* Be able and willing to provide a loving, safe and peaceful environment for this pet
* Be financially stable and willing to provide any necessary medical care
Once you have filled out an application, your application will be reviewed. If approved, we will contact you to schedule a meet and greet and home check via the email address provided.
