My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mr. Elliott! This handsome, adorable little kitten is available for adoption in the Atlanta Area!

A few months ago, a woman reached out to AWHAR because she had found 5 little kittens who needed desperate help. Sweet Elliott was one of these kittens. Thankfully, we had space and were able to take on the little sweeties! When we first got Elliott, the baby was skin and bones from living outside, and covered in fleas. He had a very rough start to life. Thankfully, with lots of TLC from AWHAR along with his foster parents, Mr. Elliott has made a full recovery and is ready for his forever family!

Elliott, like most kittens, is lively and playful, however, he is also incredibly cuddly. He will always want to cuddle in your lap or sleep in the bed with you. If you touch him, he immediately starts purring. He loves people, and while he can be nervous around other animals at first, he quickly warms up and accepts them as family. He also loves to eat: we haven't found a cat food this boy won't gobble up. Ideally, he would be fed a mixture of wet and dry food to maximize his life and his happiness.

If you are interested in adopting or meeting Elliott, please contact us. Our email is awhar09@gmail.com. We look forward to hearing from you!

To Do All We Can to Aid in the Rescue, Safety and Welfare of Stray and Abandoned Animals to end as much suffering as possible.

We realize we cannot save the world … but we can try by working with each rescued animal on an individual basis.

Go meet their pets

Because we are not a shelter, do not have a boarding facility, and are not connected with any other agency, we always welcome foster homes where animals can stay temporarily. We also welcome all tax-deductible donations from individuals or foundations.
No donation is too small.

More about this rescue

A Welcome Home Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit created to help the homeless, hurt and/or abandoned animals.
