Meet Sammie Jo! Currently in Louisiana

Sammie Jo is the trifector when it comes to dogs! She is an all around great dog. She does well with people of all ages, dogs, and even cats!

We are always cautious bringing dogs into our homes. We sometimes have very little information about them or their backgrounds, so of course we have the normal concerns, especially bringing them into your home and around your children as well as yourself. She has EXCEEDED all our expectations!!! She took to everything like she has lived with her foster for her entire life.

She even won over the 16-year-old dog senior - who generally likes no one, way to go Sammie girl. Her and the cat genuinely seem to enjoy each other's company and the cat often has his say!!! The children in the foster home are 14 and 8 - she adores them and she’s acted like she’s been around them their whole lives. This sweet girl doesn’t jump up on you and will wait until you speak to her before she will come to greet you. Now that's a smart one!

She loves to go on walks and will walk with a leash or without one - staying close to your side and never pulling when leash walked. We have walked as far as 3 miles together and she will gladly walk more if needed! Here's a plus, she likes to have a neat yard, she will actually go into the woods to do her business and then returns. Even when going on walks, she will go into the bushes to use the bathroom. She is a wonderful companion that I would recommend to anyone.

She is up to date on medical: has vaccines, microchipped, hw negative, getting rabies and spayed today, on flea and heartworm prevention, wormed.
