My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Valentine, a charming adult canine with a heart as big as his name suggests. He may be shy initially, but once he warms up to you, his sweet, playful nature shines through. Valentine loves to play fetch and enjoys a good belly rub. His favourite pastime is cuddling up with his favourite human while they read a book or watch a movie. Valentine is incredibly gentle and has a knack for making people feel loved and cherished. He`s the perfect companion for someone looking for a loyal, loving pet. Adopting Valentine means gaining a friend who will shower you with unconditional love and loyalty. His sweet, shy, and playful nature makes him the perfect addition to any family looking for a loving pet. Give Valentine a chance, and he will fill your life with joy and companionship.

More about this shelter

We are an open admissions shelter, meaning we take in homeless animals regardless of age, breed, health, temperament or lack of space. On average, we take in about 5,500 stray, surrendered and abandoned animals per year including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds and reptiles. We provide adoption services to find safe, happy homes for these pets; and also provide low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics to help safeguard them against illness or being lost forever.
