Meet Tutti Frutti! This amazing momma has done a great job raising her babies, which are just weening off her, and now all getting adopted or going to foster. It’s her turn to have someone look after her and love her. She is a little timid in the shelter but even so will allow you to say hi and to interact with all her babies. Tutti Frutti is gentle, loving, and needs out of the shelter, somewhere she can decompress and let her personality shine through. She did allow me to leash her and reach under her belly to harness with no issues or flinching. Could be a little weary on walks but no pulling and followed my lead. She is very treat motivated and takes them so gently. We did see other dogs on our walk and she had no reaction, just slight tail wag. She could probably have fursiblings with slow introductions and after she decompresses. She is a gentle love and needs someone patient and caring. She went on a doggie day out on 2/8 and here is what her people had to say: Tutti Frutti and I had a chill girls day. We went for a long walk around the neighborhood and then back to the house for some back yard free play. Then enjoyed some food and Harry Potter. We took a nice snooze and enjoyed some more back yard time. It was a beautiful sunny day that we both enjoyed. She is so easy going and a sweet heart! Tutti-frutti is very shy but sweet. I would say she’s very lady like in that she calm, reserved, and gentle.She’s great on the leash and takes treats out of your hands very gently. She is very treat motivated but patient. Tutti-frutti enjoys being pet but is a little timid so going slow is good for her. She enjoyed our long walk and did not pull or show any aggression when we passed by other dogs or people. She was able to meet a passerby and let her pet her while her tail was wagged. Tutti Frutti was able to let her guard down a bit more while she was off the leash and in the backyard. She showed her playful side getting the zoomies and wanting to play chase. Overall she’s a very sweet girl.
Tutti Frutti went on another doggie day out on 2/12, here is what her people had to say: We immediately knew it was our lucky day when Tutti Frutti was chosen for our outing. We love German Shepherds and she was one of the sweetest we`ve known. She was so quiet lying on the back seat, we hardly knew she was there. We went to William Land Park first. Tutti took in all the new sights
