My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tucker is a little cockapoo/poodle mix who's about 1 1/2 years old and weighs 13 pounds.  He was confiscated from a hoarder along with several other dogs.  Tucker was not well socialized and his dedicated foster has been working on both his housebreaking and confidence.  Tucker is improving on walking on a leash although he will sometimes just sit down and not want to move forward.  He's treat motivated however and will run ahead to get a treat tossed in front of him.  When he encounters a dog on a leash or a person walking by sometimes he begins to shake and needs reassurance.  When people visit he'll bark initially (not in a threatening way) but with his tail wagging.  After a few minutes of reassurance he relaxes.  Tucker loves to play fetch in the house and sometimes outside if the environment is quiet.  He's super affectionate and loves to cuddle, and as his confidence builds, he's learning to be independent.  Tucker would be best in a house with a yard and another socialized dog to help him continue to blossom.
