Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Saedi is a 1-year-old female Jindo mix, weighing 12 kg (about 26 lbs). She has a small, compact frame and a heart full of potential. Saedi has a difficult past—she was dramatically rescued from a dog farm in Korea, where she endured a lot of pain and hardship during her early years. Despite this, she is now in a foster home, learning to open up to people and develop her social skills with the support of her caregivers.
One of Saedi’s most charming qualities is her wonderful bond with cats. She is comfortable living with cats, enjoying their company, and feeling at ease eating and sleeping alongside them. Saedi would adjust quickly to a new home, especially if there is a cat companion, as she feels more secure in their presence.
When it comes to walks, Saedi is learning to walk calmly on a leash, and she has made great progress. She walks comfortably with her close friends, showing a relaxed and confident demeanor. While Saedi gets along well with other dogs, she can feel overwhelmed if approached by a more intense or energetic dog.
Saedi is 100% house-trained and always does her business outside, though she may have occasional accidents if the environment changes. She does best in a home where she has a companion, whether it's another dog or a cat, as she feels less anxious and more comfortable when not alone.
While Saedi can be initially shy or fearful of strangers, with patience and time, she will gradually warm up and show her loving, affectionate nature. Once she feels safe, she enjoys giving sweet kisses and showing affection, and she has a delightful personality that shines through.
Due to her past trauma from the dog farm, Saedi may be a bit reserved when it comes to new environments, but she has made significant progress in her journey of healing. She is a calm, gentle, and affectionate dog who will blossom into a loving companion with the right family. If you’re willing to be patient and give her the time she needs to feel safe, Saedi will undoubtedly grow into a cherished and sweet family member.
Saedi is looking for a family who understands her past and is ready to help her continue her journey toward trust and love. Could you be the one to offer her the forever home she deserves?

More about this rescue
We are against the slaughter and consumption of dogs in Korea.
In Korea, there are many dogs that are kept in overcrowded cages in dog-meat facilities. They are sent to the market after being tortured to death. Although the consumption of dog meat is increasingly controversial and the vast majority of younger generations do not believe in dog meat, there are still many dogs that need to be rescued from farms and streets on which they have been abandoned/mistreated by humans.
