Meet Prancer!

This sweet pup was born on December 3rd to her wonderful mom, Ivy, in a shelter, along with her 9 siblings. They quickly moved into a loving foster home in South Carolina, where they received all the care and attention they needed. On December 22nd, Prancer and her siblings made their way to New York, where another amazing foster family was eagerly waiting for them.

Prancer is a playful, curious little pup who loves to explore and snuggle. She has the sweetest demeanor, always happily wagging her tail and looking to give everyone kisses. She is growing up surrounded by love and is learning all the basics of puppy life.

Prancer and her siblings will be ready to go to their forever homes starting on February 1st.

These pups momma Ivy is about 45lbs, so we expect these pups to be medium sized when fully grown.

IMPORTANT: This dog has not yet been altered. SNARR requires a $150 deposit in addition to your adoption fee, as well as a strictly enforced Spay/Neuter Contract stating you will have this dog altered within 6 months of adoption. The $150 deposit will be returned once the contract has been fulfilled.

An application, agreement, personal reference check, vet reference check and home visit are required.

Adoption fees are below. All of our animals are microchipped, up to date on vaccines and fully vetted.

Puppies under 1 year : $495
Adults 1-9 years: $375
Adults 9+ years: $300
Special Needs Animals: dependant on specific animal and his or her needs

ADDITIONAL DEPOSIT of $125 for spay/ neuter for all unaltered dogs unless the spay/neuter

We are located at 46 Sodom Road, Brewster, NY. You can come stop by 7 days a week from 11am-4pm. While we have 15-18 dogs housed at our adoption center, the majority of our dogs are located in private foster homes.

SNARR Northeast Animal Rescue's mission is "Giving Hope to the Hopeless.” SNARR stands for Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation. We do focus on animals with special needs but we also rescue perfectly healthy dogs as well! SNARR works with municipal shelters all over the country to save animals at risk for being euthanized. Our dogs (and cats) are all in foster homes prior to being adopted.
