Background

• Mama Nala and her 7 tiny puppies were rescued from a high-kill shelter in New Mexico when the puppies were 10 days old.


• They were taken in by Fureverdog Rescue in Denver, Colorado.


• Mama Nala took excellent care of her puppies until they were all weaned.


• One puppy remains at the rescue, while the other 6 have all been adopted.

Mama Nala's Current Status

• Mama Nala has been spayed, microchipped, and is up-to-date on her vaccinations.


• She is housetrained with a doggie door and is kennel trained.


• She is described as a very sweet dog who loves attention.


• However, Mama Nala can be jealous of other dogs and protective of her food, but does well with correction.


• She is great with children and enjoys interacting with anyone who gives her attentionshe does good with most other dogs.
