Hi Everyone! My name is Kevin… Or as my foster Momma says “KeeViinnn”! You see, I’ve been with my foster family for a while now.
My start in life wasn’t great. Someone took me from my real Momma when I still needed her. Then they abused me and threw me from a car. It hurt me, not just physically, but my heart too.
It’s taken a little while for me to trust any humans. My foster Momma and Dad (and family) have shown me that not all humans are going to hurt me and their touches are really soothing.
I am a growing boy. Momma says I’m VERY “independent” and “fearless”. Really I kinda fake the fearless thing. There is still a lot I’m afraid of, but everyday I am getting braver.
I am:
🐾 10 ish weeks old
🐾 14 lbs
🐾 Black Lab mix, my DNA results aren’t back yet
🐾 I LOVE my foster siblings and the resident dogs (they have taught me so much)
🐾 I am starting to like being held and snuggled. I will let you know when I’ve had enough and need my own space
🐾 Ice cubes, empty water bottles, tug toys and crinkle toys are the BEST!!!
🐾 I’m getting potty training down really well. Being outside is amazing. Everything is an adventure!
🐾 UTD on age appropriate vaccines. NOT Neutered yet.
MUST Haves for Me:
🐾 An adult dog in the home who will help me continue to learn
🐾 Little kids are scary for me. I’m soft and fuzzy, but I am NOT a stuffed animal. I would do better in an adult home (teens and older)
🐾 My new family will need to be patient with me & earn my trust, as I will earn yours.
🐾 I want to be your forever best friend. Be with you and protect you.
🐾 As I keep growing, I will be a med/large dog… I need someone who will understand my size and help me know it too.
