We adopted Kingsley from the local shelter in 2021. He was found roaming the streets and no one claimed him. The shelter described him as a 2 yo Newfoundland, but after having Widsom Panel DNA testing ran, turns out he was 100% Great Pyrenees and was approximately 6 mo at the time. This was confirmed by our vet.
Unfortunately, we no longer have the time to devote to Kingsley that he deserves. He is great with other dogs/cats/children. He goes to doggie daycare once a week for playtime and is good with dogs of any size. We have a 2 yo son and he is gentle with him as well.
Kingsley is neutered, micro-chipped, up to date on all his shots, and is groomed regularly. He does well with free feeding, and eats Science Diet Large Breed. His last checkup was in November, and he weighed 81 lbs. We will provide bed, toys, bowls/stand, and any remaining flea/tick and heartworm meds.
Note: He will run away if not on a leash, but feel that with proper training he will stop.
