Dickory is initially a shy yet sweet boy until he adjusts to his new surroundings. One of his endearing quirks is his little "love nips" on your ankle while you're cooking—a reminder that he's eager to sample your creations! Once he's comfortable, Dickory loves to nap on top of you and enjoys gentle petting.

He prefers a calm environment and would thrive as your one-and-only cat or with a friendly female feline companion. Dickory isn't a fan of male cats and would do best in a home without dogs or children.

We require an application with references, there is no fee to fill out an application. Once approved a contract for adoption must be signed by the adopter and donation fee paid depending on the age of cat. All applications, contracts and fees are listed on our webpage www.furrr.org The application can be emailed to our adoption coordinator at adoption@furrr.org Please remember we are all volunteers with jobs and families, requests will be answered as quickly as possible.

More about this rescue

FuRRR Feline Rescue, Rehabilitation & Retirement is a non profit 501c3, we are staffed by all volunteers and we are a no kill rescue. We rescue kittens and senior cats, some stay with us for a short time, others may be with us for the rest of their lives. The cats live in a cage free environment, with lots of towers and cubbies to play and hid and lots of love and care from our volunteers. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, up to date on shots and have been combo tested.
