Meet Fruit Salad!

Hi! My name is Fruit Salad, and I’m the snuggliest, happiest little tabby girl you’ll ever meet! I was found outside with my brothers, but now I’m safe, warm, and ready to find my forever family.

I love playing with toys (especially the ones with feathers or jingly bells!) and chasing my siblings around, but my favorite thing ever is cuddling. If you pick me up, I’ll purr so loudly you’ll think I swallowed a tiny motor!

I’m really sweet and love to be around people, so if you’re looking for a furry best friend to keep you company and make you smile every day, I think I’m the perfect match for you! Do you have room in your heart for a little tabby like me?

All of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.

ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location.

Petfinder lists our pets as "Out of Town" pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. We understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.

Once your application is approved you will be contacted by the rescue to discuss the dog you're interested in.

Adoptions include spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip, health certificate and transportation.

Puppies under 6 months: $350

Dogs over 6 months: $300

We're open to the public Saturdays from 10am - 2pm. Appointments are available during the week.

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.

To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
