Meet Freeman - an adorable, young, male pup with loads of love to give! Freeman is the perfect combination of funny, friendly, and gentle and he's always up for an adventure and making new friends. Freeman has a quiet and calm disposition, but he's also playful and smart, so he's always down for a game of fetch or a rousing game of tug of war. He's a loyal companion who loves to shower his humans in kisses and he's always up for a cuddle on the couch. Freeman does great with cats, children, and other dogs. He's young and has lots of energy, so he's looking for a home who can give him lots of exercise and attention. If you're ready for heaps of love and kisses, Freeman is the pup for you!

Visit us Tuesday through Saturday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM! All of our pets are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped prior to adoption. Adoption fee: $45.00.

The Chickasha Animal Shelter is a municipal shelter operated and funded by the City of Chickasha, Oklahoma. In addition to providing a safe environment for our adoptable animals we also are responsible for the enforcement of all animal related laws within the City of Chickasha and holding all stray animals that are located. In addition to these main roles, we also provide public Spay and neuter program with OkHumane, city pet licensing, and other educational services to our community.

We operate daily with a very limited staff supported by several amazing volunteers. We operate an active foster program and are always seeking to work with those in our community interested in assisting us in our mission.
