Hey handsome Hank here! I have had a pretty rough start, but things are looking up for me now! I was hit by a car and taken to the Oakland County Animal Shelter. My leg was broken and hip/pelvis were also involved. Tigerlily knew I needed help and came to rescue me. I have had about 10 weeks of cage rest and I am all healed up! I might be a little shy, but I am a very playful loving young man. I enjoy sleeping and snuggling with my foster mom. Since I have been out of my cage, I am learning to be a kitten again. I love toys and I love the cats and even the dogs in my foster home! I am now ready to start my new life in my furever home! I would love to have another furry friend in my new home and would do well with children with proper introductions. All current pets must be fixed and up-to-date on vaccines.

Hank is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, tested negative for FIV and FeLV, and has been treated for parasites. His adoption fee is $125. Can you give this adorable boy the forever family that he deserves?

Interview

If your application is approved, one of our board members will contact you for a phone interview.

3.
Meet the Pet

During your phone interview, we will work on setting up a date/time for you to meet your new family member at the Petsmart in Troy.

Additional adoption info

* We do require adopters to be at least 21 years old.
* If you are leasing, we do ask that you provide a copy of your rental agreement showing that cats are allowed.
* We also ask that all adults living in the home agree with the adoption and addition of a feline friend to the family.
* For families with young children (under 6), kittens over 6 months are best.
* If the pet is to be alone for a significant amount of time, we ask that you consider adopting an older kitten or adult, or consider adopting two kittens to keep each other company. Young kittens are susceptible to social-depression if alone for a significant amount of time.
* We also discourage "gift" adoptions unless it is from a parent to a minor child.

Our adoption fee of $100 (cash/check) includes feline leukemia/FIV testing, deworming, flea preventative, microchip, and age-appropriate vaccines. All Tigerlily cats are thoroughly examined by a veterinarian. All cats and kittens are spayed/neutered prior to being available for adoption.
