Wind Runner and Clear Sky are a bonded pair of female rats. We estimate they are roughly 8 months old as of January 2025.
They were found abandoned in a small cage with their babies and several other adult rats. Their litters are weaned and now these mamas are ready for the spoiled pet life. They are currently living with other former mamas River Ripple, Tall Shadow, and Delilah and can be adopted as a group of 5 or just these two!
They are still learning about people. They prefer to be in their cozy hammocks off the ground where they can watch everything around them. We spend a lot of time letting them sniff our hands. They are okay being picked up, but prefer not to be handled. With time and patience, they are opening up. If you have other confident rats, this can help the process by encouraging them to mimic the other rats.
These ladies have been through a lot and need a patient, loving home. Could this be you?
