My name is ASH!

Brief Bio:
Ash is a gorgeous gray girl who’s still learning to trust. She’s been in home foster for a little over 2 weeks with her sister, Cinder. Shes spayed and vaccinated and looking for a home that understands very shy cats and is willing to be patient as she gains her confidence. She’s eating Hills Science Diet kitten dry food and using the litter box like a champ.

Summary of Personality:
Ash is a shy kitten that will need some time to fully trust and be confident in a home. She is ear-tipped as we weren’t sure how friendly she was at first. She loves to get pets and love and will turn her purr machine on! She does not like to be picked up but will likely be a lap kitty on her terms. She’s curious about things around her. Her playful kitten side is starting to come as as her confidence increases. She’s starting to play with her foster mom, and loves batting around toys in her enclosure. She’s getting really good at “catching “ the toys on the end of the wand toys. She’ll play with new things first, and her sister watches first to make sure it’s safe, and then she’ll join in.

Home Life (experience with kids & other pets, etc):
Because of her shy nature, Ash and her sister have been mostly in a large 2-story enclosure while they get comfortable. They play quite well together. 2 resident cats “visit” their room and Ash shows interest in interacting with them, but has not yet. She hasn’t been around kids, but would probably do ok with older children with slow, calm introductions. She might be ok around a smaller, very mellow dog. Ash would likely do best being adopted with her sister, Cinder, so they have each other for reassurance.
