My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Girly is a sweet and resilient 2-year-old pit mix with a heart of gold. After surviving on the streets of La Marque and raising multiple litters of puppies, she finally found safety thanks to a kind-hearted Good Samaritan who patiently earned her trust. Now thriving in her foster home, Girly is both potty trained and crate trained. She has a calm and laid-back personality, making her an easygoing companion. She currently lives peacefully with cats and would love a forever home where she can continue to enjoy the comfort and security she deserves. Could Girly be your new best friend?

More about this rescue

Our goal is to eliminate the euthanasia of companion animals in Galveston County by promoting and providing resources, education, and programs to transform animal welfare in our communities.

What makes us different is we were created to not just help animals, but people too. We realize that animals and people are very much interconnected, and a big part of our organization is outreach.
