Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
My Mother acquired when they were kittens (siblings). She had them for about 5 years and then Mom had to be moved into an Adult Family Home. They could not take animals. Mom adored Callie and Dottie. She was around them most of the day. The cats played with each other, slept and snuggled with Mom constantly. They tended to hide when strangers came to the house but when they got to know you they could be approached and held. They also played and slept with my Mom's small dog (chihuahua mix).
The cats moved in with my brother after my Mom could no longer take care of them. He works and is away from his home a lot. The cats primarily stay in one room. He has a standard poodle. The dog likes to chase them. The cats hide and tend not to interact with people very much. Their lives dramatically changed since living with my Mom. I would like to find the same home for both cats.
