Hi there! I'm Creme, but my foster family calls me Moxie! I'm a sweet, snuggly, silly girl, and I'm so excited to tell you more about myself!!
So, where to begin? First of all, I have a sister, Brulee, who I would love to be adopted with (though it's not required). Brulee and I were adopted together as kittens (and Ruff Start still has some pictures! Did you see how CUTE I was?!?!!). We had a wonderful family that loved us very much, and we loved them as well. The household we grew up in was pretty darn busy (multiple kids, dogs, cats, regular visitors...) and it ultimately just became a little too much for us over the years. As much as we didn't want to leave our family, we all thought Brulee and I would be happier in a calmer environment.
Since moving into my foster home, I am so much more relaxed! I like to spend my days lounging in the sun, cuddling with my favorite humans (if you're a hoodie wearer, know that I find the strings irresistible at times- fair warning before our first snuggle session!), and I love to climb and play in my cat tree! I'm overall a pretty calm girl, but I do still get the zoomies occasionally. I'm also a bit of a talker. Not a ton, I swear! But just enough to be incredibly endearing, and to allow me to occasionally demonstrate how well I can say "Hello!"!
Now, I know I mentioned that our first house was a lot and that a calmer home would be a better fit. In our first home, I loved all of the humans- especially the kids. There are older kids in my foster home- and I think they're delightful! I did fine with the more mellow animals in our first home as well (dogs and cats), but animals that are super active make me really nervous. But I've been told that I'm an excellent lap warmer, a talented vocalist, and I promise I will love you with my whole heart. If you're interested in learning more about one another, go ahead and fill out an application so we can chat! I would LOVE to hear more about you!!
If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.
To learn more about Ruff Start’s adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our How to Adopt page.
If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals.
